directory that began to be assembled as a way for
University of South Carolina student John S. Pruett to
gain more information about senior living solutions in
the Columbia, SC area.
- From there, on-site visits of
local senior homes led to a better understanding of what
information was available for the public in making a
decision on where to live or where a loved one might
live.
- Through a constant effort of
gathering information from organizations providing
services to seniors and listening to the feedback of
visitors to this website as well as readers of the
Platinum Living resource directory , the Platinum Living
website and directory stays up-to-date.

expanded to cover other markets in South Carolina and we

updated for the Columbia, SC area (Including Sumter and
Camden) Platinum Living staff will begin to gather
information for the Myrtle Beach/ Florence areas. From there
the markets of Greenville/Spartanburg and Charleston/Hilton
Head will be covered. The goal is to have the best resource
directory, both online and printed, to allow individuals
